About IEP Help
IEP Help is led by Dr. Vaughn K Lauer, who has over 30 years of experience in Pre-K through post-secondary education as a teacher, professor, and building, district, and state administrator of special education. He has held directorships in private organizations in the areas of professional development and test development. An accomplished presenter locally, nationally, and internationally, Dr. Lauer authored “When the School Says No…How to Get the Yes!”, a book on collaborative IEP development and an eBook explaining how parents can bring home observations to the IEP team in a way that helps visualize a child’s needs. Most recently, he released an online program that assists school team members in understanding school evaluation test scores, enables them to make informed eligibility decisions, and write needs-based IEPs.
